College dress requirements

Students are expected to observe the college dress conventions during Years 7 - ­11. We feel that smart dress is appropriate, and that acknowledgement of this principle is part of an acceptance of a place at the College. We ask parents/guardians to support us in ensuring that students are appropriately dressed. 

FOR ALL STUDENTS

School sweatshirt with IVC Logo (not to be worn for PE) Available only from IVC - order forms from the main school office.
 

FOR ALL STUDENTS

Shirt                                        Pale blue polo shirt

All shirts must have a plain blue collar NO DENIM OR DENIM LOOKALlKE

BOYS 

Charcoal grey or black tailored trousers

JEANS, JEANS MATERIAL OR CORD ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE

GIRLS 

Mid-length navy blue or black skirt or tailored trousers

JEANS, JEANS MATERIAL OR CORD ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE

FOR ALL STUDENTS 

Shoes: Must be plain black. If lace-up, laces should be black. Toe cap boots are not allowed. White trainers for PE only.

Bags: Should be sensible, large and waterproof.

Belts: If belts are worn they should be plain and black

Outdoor Coat: Must be one colour (denim or leather or 'hoodies' are not acceptable).

Jewellery and make up: Discrete make up only. Any jewellery which constitutes a safety risk, is not allowed eg large hoop earrings.
